Sears has come out to repair a leak due to a faulty rubber boot twice.  The rubber boot is a large gasket sealing the door to the drum.  It is held on with a metal ring. It fell off twice.  If we had to pay it would be $200 a pop.

Now that it leaks a third time in a year, they are saying it is our problem.  Their "customer solutions " department is only a way to get you out of their hair as expediently and with as little cost to Sears as possible.     Think of it as if you are dealing with an insurance claim.  Just as painful.  It may be a...
