With the newest of the Dr. Alex Cross series, this just adds to the need for more. It's as if the characters are members of a family with you and you worry about them, grieve with them, celebrate them and end up loving them. Each book in the series can be read as a separate book, but it is so much better reading them in order. I have enjoyed Alex very much and look forward to further exploits in future books.
