This is a basic unit.  It will allow you to upload mp3 and image files.  So I guess you can also use it as a very small digital picture frame.  The voice prompts allow plenty of time to position for your next turn.  Maps are dated about 2006, so some errors are possible.  I have not found a way to download new POI (points of interest) from the internet, so that may be a set back.  This unit has a VERY short battery life, maybe one and a half hours fully charged.  Address input is easy.  You pick a state, start typing the city until it shows in the list, pick a house number, then street. ...
