My doctor prescribed Lodrane for my sinus congestion.  It seems I keep a sinus infection pretty much year round.  The Lodrane helps tremendously in alleviating the congestion and allowing me to breathe better. The only con would be that it can make you somewhat drowsy (it doesn't for me, but it knocked a friend out when her doctor prescribed it to her) and that it can sometimes dry you out too much. I don't think it should be used for minor congestion since it has such a powerful drying effect, but for chronic sinus sufferers like me, it works wonders.  I highly recommend it!
