This is the one cookbook I believe no home should be without. In fact, it's the only cookbook I've found that I thought was worth buying. It's easy to use, and you can actually learn to cook by reading it! I find it easy to make substitutions in their recipes, since they offer suggestions (such as substituting milk for buttermilk in pancakes, oatmeal for flour in muffins, etc.) that can help make certain foods healthier or better tasting.
