    Orcas,

We have had this range for 15 months now. I can honestly say that we have not experienced any issues with it so far, including any issues regarding water vapor. We have used just about every feature it has and are particularly impressed with the convection and temperature probe features. I would advise you to use flat baking sheets (no sides/edges) when trying to bake cookies, etc. using convection though. Also, I also quickly wipe the glass top and bottom of the pan with a towel before setting it on the burner to prevent any scratching, etc. I would also recommend using pans with flat, thick bottoms. We have a bunch of Calphalon One pans that are horrible when used on a glass top range since the are too thin and heat up too fast causing the bottoms to warp. Also, this particular model is a slide-in, so be sure it will fit your opening or you will need to make some adjustments like we did. No big deal (usually), but just keep that in mind. It seems that all of the "standard" appliance sizes are a little different and especially so when it comes to refrigerators! Anyways, I hop this information helps. All of our appliances and other kitchen devices are Whirlpool/KitchenAid, so please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.

    Craig.
