This camcorder is cheap, and it shows. BUT, if you don't care if you have smooth playbacks, then it's probably your best buy. I found it at Walgreens and got it because I give lessons to athletes that need to be able to see their form. I record them and then show them what they look like on the screen. I've not tried to download any of the pictures, I've not tried to even KEEP them long enogh to see them after I've shown them to the athlete. But I do know, it has a decent picture, the colors are great, and it records for as long as I've needed it to. Not too bad on batteries, either!
