My GE experience... goes like this.
My husband & I purchased a home in May 2000. We had to gut the kitchen and start over. I was very excited to get all new appliances. We shopped around and decided on the GE Profile Series. We got the gas stove/oven and the OTR microwave. We bought the refrigerator in 2004.
The microwave started malfunctioning at about 3 yrs of its installation. Every time I used it, sparks would fly and it would just go dark. We called a GE service person to come to the house. The charge was $79.95 JUST to ring our doorbell. GE calls this a service charge. The microwave could...
