We needed to replace our out-dated, energy sucking washer & dryer.  After consulting Consumer Reports, we started shopping around.  We went with the GE front loading pair.  They were highly rated, energy star rated and the price fit our budget.  I am in love with these appliances...my clothing has never looked better, and my utility bills have lowered.
