I have been doing some dealing on Craig's List in my local area and am finding it to have mixed results.  The first couple of items I put on the list were not even responded to.  After that, I put a few more things on and had people who wanted to meet me halfway, or 30 miles from my home.  One person came to buy our trash compactor and drove more than an hour through traffic to get here, then paid the asking price.  I knew there were people out there like me who would go to the seller's home instead of asking to meet me.  After all, my town is listed in the ad.
