I needed a stovetop that would hold up to the abuse that my husband can put on it. I also wanted a professional one, so I could manage doing bigger containers on the holders, and have lots of different setting controls for heat for when I put together a dinner party and need a large stovetop area for a small kitchen.  This fit the bill. 

And although its easy to take apart to clean, its still a little tough getting everything off the stainless steel.  not sure of what my husband is cooking, but when it spills over, it heat seals on to the little metal collars below the ceramic tops, and is tough...
