I have had my machine in the shop at least 5 times....it is quite heavy to carry, so that is not a good thing.  Several times they have worked on it while I was  in class at my Bernina Dealer.  I also have a 730e for 4 years. .....   12,000.00 means expectations are high.  The dealer has been great, I would refute  arguments about care and use since I taught a computer electronic course.
