It is red and fits perfectly with my apple motif in my kitchen. It has a beeper that lets me know when the coffee is made, and it beeps every 15 minutes to let me know how long the coffee has been sitting. It also has a reminder of when the water filter needs to be changed. It recommends changing after every 70 pots of coffee. You can purchase the filters for this pot at sears also.
