The premier gentle leader is awesome!! Some peple alo know it as a 'Halti". I own a very strong Pitt Bull. I would not be able to walk her with ease if i didn't use the gentle leader. The collar goes over the dogs nose and clips around thier neck like any other collar would. If the dog starts to pull their nose and head are pulled gently to the side and back slightly. It does not hurt or harm the dog in any way. Dogs don't like this feeling and quickly learn to not pull when on walks. The only problem I ever had with it was at the beach.
