I wanted to start by saying that I was a little skeptical of extenders, probably because I remember the first generation 4 or 5 years ago and how they just didn't perform well and were a bear to setup and use. I bought this for my wife, who likes to watch tv in our bedroom and records a lot of shows on our Vista PC downstairs. The setup was easy and although we don't use it everyday, it works well and I'm suprised at the quality of the streamed video and audio. I was expecting some blockiness and stuttering, but it seems to buffer all of that and it is the same quality as my direct cable feed....
