No matter what others thinks of you, in the long run it is you that has to answer to yourself.
This evening me and my husband went to a restraunt that is in out town. The name of it is call La Viesta. It is a Mexican Restruant and the staff was excellent. I haven't been there in a long time, but this evening had to be the best by far. I order the Texas fajitas. That was a explosion of flavors in your mouth. I do not like anything that is to salty and this had the right amount of flavoring. I also had a nice cold, frozen, strawberry margarita. Yummmmm that happened to be the best that I have ever had. I am a very picky person when it comes to my food and beverages. However, my favorite part of the meal is the free chips and salsa that comes to your table fresh and warm. I could just live off of the chips and dip for a meal if they would let me....lol
The staff was alot of fun. They seemed to be very family oriented, but of course that is all that works there is family. The kids will love to eat there. I would love to take the kids there for a nice night out.
One of the waiters watched as we played that game were you get the toy out of the machine. I lost 2 dollars, my husband 1 dollar, and our cousin lost 2 dollars. I think that some times those games are rigged. I know that they are for a lot of fun. Before we left the waiter gave us two of the toys that they had on the sitting bench next to the cashier. That was so nice and I do recommend everyone to go if you are in canton, ILL. If you would like the number to make reservations or just want to stop in to check it out just let me know and let me know how your experience went.
Tell them that shannon belk sent you.
Hi, my name is Shannon and I am the proud mother of three beautiful children and a great husband. My children are 11, 5, and 2. I am blessed to have a wonderful family, but I am not saying that it is all peachy because it is far from it.
My husband and I got together in 2003 and got married in 2005. My husband just got done have the gastrobypass surgery on Aug. 12 of this year. At the beginning he weight 469lbs and now he is down to 300lbs. He is doing outstanding and myself plus the children have noticed a major difference in him. He is having more to do with us as a family and a lot more for himself.
My 11 daughter is in 5th grade of a junior school. She is extremly smart in so many ways. I ask her who it is that she wants to become when she gets older and finishes school? She replies all so seriously,"I want to became a singing, artistic, writing vet. I want to beable to drawl the pets as they are when they come into my hospital and i want to sing to them to make them feel better." I love her so much that if it wasnt for her then I don't know what I would have done with myself.
Now, my 5yr old daughter is a hand full lol. She is stuck on what it is and this is how it is to become. She is far from being spoiled. I just think that at times she feels as if she is stuck in the middle with no where else to go, but with an attitude. She can make you smile when you are sad and down in the outs. She tries to be an individual. I know that she isnt going to be a follower because she expect others to do as she pleases...lol
Now my 2 yr old son in so precious. I am so glad that god blessed us with a little boy. It has been a major stuggle with him. We had no idea that having this child was going to be so hard with so many problems. At birth he was dead and they had to revive him. couple of hours later he was sent to another hospital. It was the Illinois childrens hospital(OSF) in Peoria, ILL. I am so glad that he was taken over there because they do an outstanding job with the children and treat them all with great respect and as if each and every child was theirs. He came home a week later and was in and out of the hospital ever since. He has had tubes placed into her ears because he wasn't able to hear or speak. Finally after the tubes was placed we have noticed a big difference. However, in April of this year he has to have brain surgery. I have waited and waited for over 2 yrs for him to call me mom and finally the day after his surgery he looked over at me and called me mom. I was emotional that all I done was grabbed him into my arms and cried. I was so happy. I am proud of his progress but we have a long way to go because he has so many issues and delays that I am stressed to my max, but wouldnt trade it for the world.
