State Farm refuses to pay at fault claims

My son was a passenger in a truck. The driver who was insured by State Farm, lost control of the truck, ran off the road, the truck rolled over three times and my son was thrown out of the truck. The top of his femur was broken and dislocated from the hip. He had two surgeries and was in the hospital for ten days. He was 22 years old when this happened and the orthopedic doctor has said he will need a hip replacement at some point. This was a single car accident.
