Listening to this album I felt extremely bored and uninspired, which is the exact opposite of what I feel when I listen to Tender Prey, Murder Ballads, or And No More Shall We Part.

 I felt like Nick Cave used the same formula and the same kind of sound for every song.

I don't know why I didn't like this so much.

I still plan on giving it a few more listens before I give up on the album completely.

I'm just sad because my excitement for the new album disapointed me.
