We purchased the Whirlpool Duet Sport front loading washer and dryer set about a year ago. Overall I would say it does a pretty good job, but there have been more times than I can count where I have put items in - jeans, a rug, etc. and at the end of the cycle everything is still soaking wet.  I will try running them on the Drain/Spin cycle multiple times but they still are wet and I either have to put them on the deck to drip dry or put them in the dryer for hours which certainly defeats any money saving benefit.  I've tried reading the manual to figure out what to do about this but it was less...
