    Going to stick with XP, Vista runs much slower on my new laptop Dual core and 2gb memory. there are several programs i run that are not compatible with vista. my scanner is not compatible. and out of the box you have to do alot of tweaking to vista just to make it almost resonalbe to use (like user account control) and all the annoying gadgets that just slow the computer down
