I've had a discover card for over 20 years. I love it, and it is by far my favorite card. Love to apply the 1% cash back to the next bill I have. WhaaaaHoooo! However, it is a must to pay it off at the end of the month. I will, if I have to, transfer a high balance to a 0% for a year option on another card to avoid the 20+% that I will have on discover if I don't.  I would encourage everyone to try discover as long as you can manage your dept.
