The Acer Aspire One with the 10.1 inch screen is a bargain.  It has none of the bells and whistles of larger laptops and should be used solely for internet browsing with its built in Wi-fi, as well as wordprocessing at work when you are not chained to your desk.  In a pich, it can store songs and photos as well as some videos.  The screen can be adjusted for brightness and is adequate for most purposes.  The keyboard, while cramped takes some getting used to, but will suffice for most.  If your hands and fingers are extra large, look at another machine as the frustration level may have you...
