I wanted a LCD tv so bad that I didn't really shop around too much, but I am very happy with this product.  It looks great and works great.  Their are so many Menu options to choose from that you can adjust the picture for every channel you put on!  I was very impressed by that.  We got it a year ago and paid $1300 for it... that's really the only problem I've ever had with it.  It's simple to use even for the technologically-impaired like me!
