Kayak.com offers an easy way to comparison-shop for travel.

I am an American living in China and shop frequently for plane tickets to come home. In the past, I have always used Expedia to find the best prices, but recently I've used kayak.com to search for travel deals, and have been very pleased by the experience.

Kayak.com does not book plane tickets or hotel rooms itself, like Expedia and Orbitz do; instead, it allows the user to comparison-shop between a multitude of airlines or hotels, displaying the rates for all and then taking the customer to the website offering the tickets or room the customer wishes to book.
