I bought my Magellan Roadmate 1412, 4.3" screen with text-to-speech, from Sears for $160 back in Dec. 2008.  I wish I could charge it through my computer since it has a USB port, but that's not the case.  When i charge it in my car, the battery only lasts a few minutes.  now, 8 months later, it turns off when I touch it, very annoying.  It also freezes up on start up.  The start up is really slow, if you're in a hurry to get somewhere, this won't be a good GPS.  The re-routing is slow too.  I do like how it works like a yellow page and you can find the phone number to alot of businesses,...
