Being a diabetic, avoiding sugars is high on my list of things I must always do when drinking and eating stuff. I have loved Equal and Splenda equally over the past few years but have heard the different things about Stevia as a sugar substitute and that it is more natural than anything other than real sugar. The one thing we all forget is that even our normal white sugar is processed in chemicals as well as Splenda is so if we'd all have switched to the Stevia plant as our sweetener long ago we would have reduced the extra chemicals entereing our bodies.
