We have had the worst luck with vacuum clenars. I'm not sure what it is but every vacuum we owned would invariably die with 2yrs, usually 18mos. We started low-end and kept working our way up the chain thinking if we spent a bit more, we'd get better quality but every make, every model would start flaking out and causing us tons of repair time and then just up and quit sucking. No clogs could be found, nothing mechanical that we could discover, just no longer working. We tried paying for the extra insurance but with 4 kids, having our vacuum out for months to be repaired just isn't an option....read full review »
