UTEP holds my respect for its flexibility and being friendly to those of us who are working full time and finishing school. A good portion of the student population are non-traditional students, so the university goes above and beyond to offer courses at night. The professors had high expectations of their students, however, many were also very encouraging and willing to cheer us on when demands of work and family were becoming too much for us to handle.
