I have a ten month old, who believes she is much older than she is. She loves this cup, she has always been ahead of the curve, and she likes to also suck out of a straw already. The straw being bendable also makes this cup a great item. I am no longer afraid that she will poke herself in the eye with the straw. I also like that she can hold it pretty well and it doesn't spill all over the floor. She likes to carry it around where ever she goes. She also really likes the colors and pictures that are on the cup itself. She will sit there for a while just looking at the different designs on the cup....
