GE Microwave - Turntable

I've had a basic black GE microwave with turntable for just over a year. At about 6 months the turntable quit. Repair man said it was grease under the turntable that caused burning and burned up the center post. I NEVER cook with fat and my microwave is immaculate. Now, at just over a year when the warentee is done, it happened again. There is the smell of burning hair and then the turntable quits. Same thing. It's too costly to fix. Might as well buy new. It WON'T be GE!
