Wow I suppose I should probably do a little updating here.

So the sandles are back in the closet, and the maternity wear has come out.  My boys are not going to enjoy being cooped up during the winter that is definitely for sure.  My apologies if I've seemed slightly invisible for a little while.  These past 2 months have been full of all kinds of interesting happenings that have kept me very busy.

    • To begin with this summer we found out that we will once more be welcoming a little life into our family.  While we were very excited for this, the sickness that came with this one pretty much kicked my butt.
    • Once school started, work has been more than crazy.  I can't even explain in this amount of space the whirl-wind of changes and business that has occurred this year, beyond anything I remember in the past 8 years of working there.  (Remember all of this on top of pregnancy sickness....blah).  And the craziness is still going at least for 2 more weeks until we have our major federal review.
    • I started to actually get over the pregnancy blah and was majorly hit with some illnesses that spread around the family.  First was a cough that lasted ~3 weeks that then led into an entire head infection.  if it was above the neck... it was infected (or at least I think so anyway).  Antibiotics, lots of Tylenol and 2 IV bags later I'm almost back to "normal".

So after all that fun, anytime I've felt alright I've needed to devote to my poor house which has suffered almost as bad as I have... and of course my wonderful husband who kept everything together.  Look forward to seeing more of me around as I'm hoping for things to slow down a touch in the next few weeks..... wish me luck on that thought.

Spring is in the air! I can finally pull my shorts and most importantly, my sandles out of the closets. Ever notice how cute babies are with short stubby legs and shorts :)

I've got my entries in for the baby sweepstakes this month... how about you?  We could really use all those mommy (and daddy, grandma, grandpa aunt, uncle etc...) viewpoints on the latest and greatest baby gear.

    Want some ideas:
    - High end car strollers
    - Breast feeding supplies and aids
    - Nursery furniture
    - Every day items
Got something strange that you absolutely love?  Review it.

Coming up on my little guy's first birthday I'm reminded just how fast time goes by.  Seems like it was just last month I was off spending time at home with my newborn and now I have a toddler almost running around my home.  If that wasn't enough his older brother is now continually asking about going to school.

I love all these little moments that lead up to creating little men.  It's so amazing to watch them change and then wonder... where did this kid come from... I just had a baby not too long ago.  It's nice to reflect back on the events of the past 3 years and how their lives have unfolded.

This year can only bring new and positive changes.  Resolution number one that should top everyone's list - Adapt a positive attitude.  Don't talk about how cold it is, how you're tired or that little sniffle you feel coming on.  Avoid the office water cooler and that famous gossip hound.  Try it for a week and see what happens I know I will be.

What greater joy is there than teaching a 3-yr old how to cut by making snowflakes.

Goodbye my Rusty Kitty... You were a good and faithful cat for 13 years.  You will be deeply missed.

Obviously you can tell we lost a member of our family today.  My husband had to make the difficult decision to put down his cat of 13 years.  So needless to say it's been a long day around here.  The next step will be trying to explain death to the three-year old.

Pumpkins carving.. oh what fun to watch little ones have so much fun with pumpkin guts.  I think the baby had more fun that his big brother as he wanted to eat all the goo.  Big bro didn't really want to touch the guts but he still had a blast watching daddy do it.

Darn Cough!  Guess I really should take heed from my body and slow down, but sometimes it's just easier to keep going instead of making arrangements to call in sick.

Wow what a great new profile set-up!  Great work Viewpoints!

I've been out a little with illnesses.... when it strikes, it gets the whole household.  Between the baby and I coughing and sniffling abound in our home.

Preparing a 3-year old birthday party for this weekend... I cannot believe he's going to be 3 on Friday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So why am I here... I have recently fallen in love with writing and Viewpoints provides a great outlet for that. This is a relaxed atmosphere where ordinary people can share their opinions on just about everything. I also LOVE the community here. I have met so many dear friends just by taking some time to write my opinion and read other's opinions. A little about me. As you can tell from my pics, I have two beautiful boys. One 2.5 ~yup we're in the potty training stages ~ and one 5 months old. They are at least kind enough to let me get some sleep at night. During the day I work full time in a large preschool program for low income children... although I work more with the "big" kids than the children.
