    I own dozens of scrapbooking idea books, including everything that Simple Scrapbooks has released in the last 5 years -- and this is by far the best one I own. I have reread this book so much that the spine has cracked and pages are falling out.

    Cathy Zielske's hall-of-fame-winning style of scrapbooking is just as the book's title states: clean and simple. She often produces layouts that utilize no more than cardstock, text (she tries both handwriting and computer fonts), and photos -- yet all of these layouts are cutting-edge.
