American Eskimo's are very friendly dogs. They love being around people. My dog gets extremely excited when people are around or when me and my family come home after we have left her alone. They are also mild mannered when it comes to being around other dogs. When I take my dog on walks other dogs will come up and bark at her and all she does is sniff them and then she will lose interest and walk off. She also does not bark very much, which is nice.
