    I truly enjoy all the books written by Susan Wittig Albert; check out all her series! I particularly love the China Bales series because the research that goes into them is obvious. I really enjoyed Thyme of Death as one in a series. But each book in this series can stand alone, so don't hesitate to pick one up.
