American Gangster

Loved the Movie...but it sure was long!

action fan, into movies that tell a great story, a fan of clever plots, movie buff

I thought this movie was great. Really I did...but I'm not sure it needed to be two and a half hours long. It was a touch violent and I could have done without the majority of the nudity but overall a good film. I felt like the first half of the movie was very drawn out, but that there were still several plot points that were brushed over and never explained. The end, confusing. Russel Crowe's character goes from being a cop to putting on a suit and being a lawyer in point two. It seemed like everything after that, really rushed.
