did okay for a while then everything just kept getting stuck in the hose. I have two cats and it just didn't suck up fur very well. It also would pick up cat litter out of the carpets. The filters are washable put you can't just toss them in the wash you have to soak and scrub and rinse with hot water to get them to come clean. The three filters also took a long time to dry on the counter. Overall I would not give the vacuum a very good rating.
