I have used Snopes.com often through the years to try to find out if certain e-mails I receive from friends are really true or not. For example, sometimes one might receive an e-mail claiming that a certain company is giving out a BIG reward or FREE product to the person who forwards the e-mail to the most people and that they can track how many you send. Many times if you check it out on Snopes.com you can find out by searching the topic if it is bogus or not. There are many deceptive e-mails out there.
