Most original movie/musical I have ever seen

I saw "Once" today without knowing anything about it--save that it was logged as "an Irish Musical". This was the most original movie I have ever seen. I am not sure it would qualify as a musical in the most literal sense--but the tracks in the movie are extremely powerful. The basic premise is that a struggling musician is performing in the street in Ireland and meets a young woman who inspires him to form a band and record a demo at a nearby studio.
