I just a quick note to welcome our newest technical hire at Viewpoints:  MrNik.  We're quite excited to have him on the team and are looking forward to working with him as continue to build out the Viewpoints web site.

Stop by his profile page and say "hi" if you have a moment.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Wow!  I realized that last week was my two year anniversary working at Viewpoints.  Of course the company hadn't been around too many months prior to that either.  ;)

Two years ago, we were still deciding on a name, Vytas was just starting to design the pages, the tech team had zero code written, and we had a goal to launch an alpha version of the site in 3 months.

Here we are two years later and I'm very proud of the site we've built, and of the writers and community members that call Viewpoints home.  It's because of all of you that I can truly say this job is fun and exciting.  You breathe the life into this web site in a way that I've never experienced before (and I've been building web sites for 12+ years).  Thank you!

P.S.  I just uploaded an early mockup of the review page to my photo gallery.  Old timers can reminisce and new Viewpointers can see what we used to look like.

Well it's been a week since the launch of the profile pages.  We've been busy making tweaks and fixes based on all the great feedback we received from everyone.  Keep it coming...

Wow, the new profile pages are finally out.  Hopefully y'all will find them more useful and better organized than the old ones.

Jolie's started a feedback thread in the discussion boards...leave feedback or bugs there.

The scribbles tagline "from my keyboard to your screen" is quite true in my case. I work at Viewpoints developing the website that you're currently viewing! I guess I end up writing more code than reviews, but I post one every now and again. ;)
