We bought the mattel hot wheels downhill raceway for christmas a year and a half ago for my then 3 year old son, who was just starting to like racing.  Boy was this toy a hit.  This toy was easy to put together for me,  and my son loves how he can make them all start at the same time by pushing down the little lever and it even tells you which car was the winner through the little whole at the finish line.
