I own an old Sunbeam mixer - passed down from my grandma's kitchen that I adore mainly for sentimental reasons-but nothing compares to my new KitchenAid Artisan mixer!!  I love the power, all of the attachments and the color - red!  It is not only attractive - but gets my cooking juices flowing with a little help from chefs on TV that use this mixer.  I have made cake mixes, bread doughs, brownies, doughnuts - just about everything and this mixer delivers.  Much more convenient and modern than the old Sunbeam I was using.  I recommend this to anyone that enjoys hands free mixing - while working...
