We have boys running in and out of our house all the time. The family room is the only room downstairs with carpet and they run right in the back door onto the carpet. I can get any mud, grass stain or other awful stain off the carpet with this cleaner. I clean the entire house every three months or more and it makes our carpet upstairs look brand new.
