I expected PureVia to taste just like sugar and it doesn't quite. First I tryed it straight. It's a little sweeter that sugar at first, then leaves a bitter aftertaste. The bitterness goes away when it's mixed with food but still does give a very sweet taste. I tried it in tea, on fruit and in a recipe for muffins. It fine in these uses, just use a little less than you would of real sugar until you see what's right for you. The best benefis of PureVia are the health ones, no calories. no cavities and I assume, none of the health risks associated with sugar. like diabetes or heart desease. ...
