The Chi flat iron, well entire line of products are truely wonderful! I bought the 1 inch flat iron in March of 2006 and I still have it to this day (October 23, 2009). It's the ONLY hair straightener I use, will use, or reccommend. It has NEVER had any technical problems of any kind. I have extremely thick curly hair and one swipe of the Chi iron down my locks and it's straightened and shiny. It's definately worth the $100.00 you pay for them.
