We grill year round & the chimney starter is especially helpful in windy weather. I use it every time I light the grill. The chimney helps the charcoal light evenly & burn evenly. When the charcoal is dumped out, it is almost ready to throw on the food. By the time we get the grill plates in place, we are ready. Cuts the cooking time in half.
