The Acadia Inn is located on Route 3 (98 Eden Street) just outside of Bar Harbor. The hotel is about a mile from the center of the downtown area. The hotel has an "ocean view" though you are looking through some trees and over the hotels that are on the other side of the road, up against the ocean.

Since it was November when we arrived, the hotel was not very crowded. We had reservations ahead of time, but at that time of the year, it did not seem like they were needed. The lobby area has the check-in desk, a small gift shop and then a dining area for the complimentary breakfast in the morning....
