The Leki Trail Trekking Poles are pretty much your average adjustable hiking poles. There is no shock absorption system and beyond a slightly flexed grip to keep your wrists in a neutral position, these poles are just like any other poles.
There isn't too much to this adjustable hiking pole other than it is adjustable. My partner is 5'10" and I'm 6'2" and both of us, with a bit of adjusting, can comfortably use the poles.
