Blue Water

Being on the sea to assuage loss - beautifully written

Manette Ansay starts out in Wisconsin with her novel of a family's loss but most of the book takes place in a sailboat on the Atlantic and exotic ports of call. Her description of the sea journey, and the family and neighbor relationships that continue in the small home town, ring true and take on an unusually complex nature. Great read!
