My wife and I have been doing research on new front loading washers and dryers.  We subscribed to Consumer Reports and found their top pick.  We then went to user reviews, which were mostly completely opposite of what Consumer Reports stated.  After much research, we decided on the Whirlpool Duet HE (High Efficiency) set.  WOW!!
