Mazda Protege - 2000

Small and sporty; needs alot of work

I am reviewing the Mazda Protege 2000. I bought this car as a second automobile for our family. It was used and at a good price. It did really well about the first year. After that it seemed to fall about. It needed a new battery, then an alternator. The shocks and struts went next. The window on the passenger side stopped working. Then the check engine light came on and we took it to the mechanic about six times and it continued to stay on. The gas mileage began to get really bad and then it would not start at all, so we replaced the car.
