I bought a Dell Studio 15 about a month before i was going off to college, and so far it has stood up to all its cracked up to be. I've had no problems with software, hardware, or viruses. Of course most of that wouldn't deal with just the laptop, but it hasn't even slowed down yet. The pixel quailty is absolutely awesome and the speakers are loud as ever. When i use my VGA cord to watch movies from my computer to the television, I use the speakers from computer still. They are as loud as the tv and just as clear.
